about me: Jackie has been a national touring comic for over 10 years. She has her own half hour special on Comedy Central and has appeared on NBC, VH1, and A&E (Comedy on the Road - back in the 1700’s). She was on last season�s NBC show �Last Comic Standing� if you didn�t blink too fast, and was a 2006 �pick of the week� performer in the LA Weekly. She has done the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, the Bumbershoot Arts Festival in Seattle, Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and toured Australia for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow. ABC Australia said, �The gem of the night was Jackie Kashian. Her droll, perceptive description of her family was hilarious.� She has two CD�s, �Cake is Not My Downfall� and �Circus People.� Jackie’s Half Hour Special on Comedy Central was voted one of the 25 most popular specials and the Minneapolis Star Tribune has written that her comedy, �is that rare, wonderful combination: smart and funny.� She enjoys video games, go-carts and other traditionally tiny-child activities in an ongoing attempt to block out reality. I'm on a recurring show on HNN (CNN's Headline News) as a talking head about stuff from the 80's. Fads and such. It's called "Not Your Avg Cable News Show."
I'm on whatever they choose to air from auditioning for this season's Last Comic Standing.
