about me: Chris Bonno grew up in a giant country called Texas where he learned he wasn’t one of them. His career started in his pajamas performing Elvis and Beatles songs for relatives, usually in the car. He has a widow’s peak which is good luck in some parts of the world. Bonno is a comedian, actor, writer and improviser with a long history of performing solo and with groups like The Hilarions, Esther’s Follies, The Laff Staff, Mondo Garage Sale, The Funny Fuckers, Liquid Radio Players, the Fake Radio Players and the Fugitives (as a regular at the L.A. Improv with Rick Overton and a cast of serious improvisers that you know and would love, if you knew them better.) He’s been on many top notch sitcoms and some crappy ones. Most recently he’s appeared on Fox’s The War At Home and has a guest star role on the New Comedy Central comedy series Halfway Home. In some circles he’s recognized as one of the early champions of original television on the web starring and co-writing the rock/improvised/comedy show Ralph the Roadie with director/creator Peter Byck. He plays Ralph (http://www.ralphtheroadie.com http://www.myspace.com/ralptheroadie ) He’s currently on tour with comedian/ tv phenom Hal Sparks doing shows everywhere from Orlando, Florida at the Hard Rock to Caroline’s in New York.
